SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Vienna Junior High BETA Club was welcomed to the State Capitol on Feb. 28 by State Sen. Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg).
The Vienna Club was very successful at this year’s Illinois BETA Junior Club State Convention. The group won first place in campaign skit category. They took second place in painting, living literature, and trading pin categories. Finally, the club won third place in charcoal sketching, pen sketching, pencil sketching, calisthenics of the mind, book battle, and wreath categories.
