With the holiday season fast approaching, I want to take this time to wish everyone in the 59th Senate District a very happy holiday!
During this time each year, we are reminded to reflect on the many blessings in our lives.
As we continue to confront the daily challenges of this pandemic, I know it is hard for many to see the silver lining. However, it is in the challenging times, such as these, that we should take stock of the most important things in our lives and give thanks for the blessings around us.
Personally, I am thankful for my loving family and the great friendships I’ve forged over the years. While celebrations will look differently this year and we may not be able to celebrate in-person, it doesn’t diminish the love we share and the bonds we’ve formed.
I am also immensely grateful for my time in the General Assembly and the opportunity I’ve had to serve the people of the 59th District. I am thankful each-and-every day to be in a position to work for our region and be a voice for the communities of Southern Illinois.
Beyond that, I am also beyond grateful for the men and women of our military and our first responders. During this holiday season, I encourage everyone to take the time to recognize their service and sacrifices.
From my family to yours, have a happy, safe and joyous Thanksgiving holiday!
Sincerely,
Sen. Dale Fowler
