State Senator Dale Fowler is pleased to announce the addition of traveling office hours during this year’s Southern Illinois Made Expo slated for October 15-16.
“It’s great to be back at the Southern Illinois Made Expo this year where my staff will be on hand to help anyone with a government issue,” said Senator Fowler. “My office handles several constituent requests each day, and this is a great opportunity for us to come to you, versus you coming to us.”
Senator Fowler and his staff will be located outside the entrance to the expo to hear citizens’ concerns, answer questions and provide information on several issues.
“After visiting with my staff, I encourage everyone to attend the Southern Illinois Made Expo where more than 100 vendors from right here in Southern Illinois, will be on display, showcasing their unique products and tasty treats,” said Fowler. “This year we will also have lots of fun activities for children including face painting, a balloon artist and so much more.”
Office hours will run throughout the event, taking place on October 15 and 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. just outside the Pavilion located at 1602 Sioux Drive in Marion.
“Come out to see just how well we have it “made” here in Southern Illinois, support your local businesses and help out a great cause benefiting our area veterans,” concluded Fowler.
