SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Sen. Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) offered the following comments after Governor Bruce Rauner delivered his annual State of the State Address on Jan. 25.
“I am optimistic, the conversations in Springfield are very fluid. We are working hard to achieve some results. Education and job creation are our two top priorities, and the Governor’s Address focused on those two themes,” Fowler said. “We have an opportunity to fix Illinois and help ‘right’ the fiscal condition. It is up to us to come together to compromise to do the right thing for the state’s taxpayers.”
