State Senator Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) released the following statement regarding the tragic passing of Andy Sisulak, Legislative Aide to the Senator.
“Our hearts are absolutely broken with news of Andy Sisulak’s sudden passing. He was the heart and soul of our district operations team, always working to try to make life better for the people of the 59th District. Southern Illinois has lost a dedicated servant and a tireless philanthropist. Andy was incredibly generous with his time, as he spent innumerable hours helping causes that were near to his heart such as the Fowler Bonan Foundation, where he served as a board member, volunteering with the Heaven’s Kitchen and Clothes for Kids programs. He was a strong advocate for the Southern Illinois region, serving as co-founder of the Williamson County CEO program, the Secretary of the Southern Illinois Mayors’ Association, the Delta Regional Authority, being recently appointed as the Chairman of the DRA’s Regional Advisory Council, and was a driving force within the Southern Illinois Made Expo. “
“Andy’s loss will leave a hole in the lives of so many people in our communities. We were lucky to have known him and to call him a friend. Please keep Andy’s friends and family in your prayers.”
